Another Missing Girl...

Okay, so I know this is no joking matter. Since noon today, emergency services has issued a child abduction in Kenosha, WI, several hours from me. A young girl has been taken from a home possibly by a hispanic male, driving a '99 gray SUV type vehicle, with Illinois plates. This sickens me. I am, however, grateful that it is breaking news, and breaking into all programming in the area. I have never seen this happen... cutting into tv programs. Not that shit didn't happen when I was a kid, but what happened to the days when you felt a sense of safety, for you and your family. Kids can't even ride their bikes around the neighborhood without a watchful eye over their every move. What has the world come to? There are far too many of these stories. Maybe back in the day, we just didn't hear as much about it, even though it was going on. So scary for parents today. Makes me glad I'm gay, and won't be breeding!
