This flashes me back to when I first came out... I was about 21, and had a certain someone in mind everytime this song played. Unfortunately, he was taken, but that didn't stop me from making him a mixed tape of my favorite gay bar tunes, ending with "Do you really wanna hurt me" by Culture Club. Why didn't anyone stop me from doing that? Oh mercy, how embarrassing! Did you ever do something like this, where you look back and are like "Oh My God, what was I thinking?"? I have too many of these moments! Oh, and he was soooo hotttt! Ugh:(

This, among other La Bouche songs, takes me back to great times on the dance floor. I remember one time, this scary looking homo took off his shirt, and proceded to do pushups and jumping jacks throughout the entire song. We laughed so hard, then I jumped off the speaker, unbuttoned my cut-off flannel, and hit the floor, doing my own pushups, we all did push ups. Then, unfortunately, my skin tight Levi's cut my fun short, as I could barely get up off the floor, trying not to rip a hole in the ass of my pants! Oh, the fun we had, and what a dork I was!

And this, such a lovely version of Roberta Flack's original (which I absolutely adore). I could almost get teary eyed when I hear this. Gosh, am I a big mo or what?
