WTF?

2 people were charged with the death of their 21 month old baby boy, after he was found to have had enough cocaine and oxycodon in his system to kill an adult! More on this story HERE. I caught this on Nancy Grace and was obviously quite disturbed. What's worse is when I went to CNN's site to find the story, I found there are way too many stories similar to this one. When did people start being oblivious to the world around them and not hesitate to endanger the lives of the ones they are supposed to live and die for. The mother in this article said she noticed some white shit on the kids face during the night. As if she didn't know what she wiped from his face, was she that fucked up that she didn't think it would possibly affect the baby? And where'd the kid get the drugs in the first place? Were the parents that coked up that they left their shit lay all over the house? And they didn't happen to notice their stash was missing? And isn't oxycodone generally in pill form, or am I mistaken?
