It's clear to everyone that Ellen DeGeneres has slimmed down... she always looked thin to me anyway. I recently read that Ellen and Portia have been vegan's since last year, which explains the weight loss. I've been studying up on being vegan, and I'm starting to wonder what you are actually allowed to eat. Okay, tofu is acceptable, and veggies and salads and whole grains and some pastas... I'm not sure I could do it! Unfortunately for me, I work in an italian restaurant, so my temptations are definately weakend. I went through the menu for work, and there is one salad (minus the cheese) that would be acceptable and we do have a whole grained pasta! Hmm. A friend of mine has actually been on an all salad diet for six months and lost a ton, but that has never been enough to fill me up. I've gone on the salad diet and made it 3 days before I broke down and had some meat! I'm willing to try a new weight loss plan... vegan though?
