Although born in 1949, Hasbro's Mr. Potato Head (and Mrs.) was the star of television's first ever toy commercial back in 1952. It wasn't until the 60's that the famous potato got an appropriate plastic head... I didn't realize that you used an actual potato! And, if I'm not mistaken, is that Bart Simpson doing the voice over in the commercial?
